Since it's happening to others as well and it's really very annoying to hear all those snap, crackle, pops when playing videos in Lwks. Something for Tech engineers to look into I hope. BTW, this never happened in previous versions of Lwks to my knowledge. But people shouldn't need any other software program to solve an audio issue that appears directly linked to Lwks from what I can tell. I did discover, however, that once I changed the conversion quality to the highest quality setting it seems to solve the audio issue in videos saved in Lwks, although the crackling, popping sound still happens before saving them in Lwks.

I use a program called VideoProc to convert to MP4.
#Lightworks audio stuttering mp4#
YouTube is now converting all videos to MKV format apparently which Lwks does not support?, so I have to convert them to MP4 before loading into Lwks. But after editing and saving a video in Lwks the sound issues remained in the saved file. Again, all other video files with audio track(s) play fine on my system using any media player VLC, etc. I double-checked to make sure my right speaker connection(s) were properly seated (Power cable, Audio cable) and they were. The solo now stutters every millisecond, causing it to sound like crap, and everything is buffering now, and making this horrible noise. Whole thing is edited, and then suddenly, the video starts buffering. When trying to edit a YouTube video in Lwks which also includes a stereo music track, when playing the video, the audio problem occurs (crackling, popping, etc.) but only affects my right speaker. So basically, I just finished doing a cover of when the levee breaks by led zepelin, using lightworks.

This issue only happens in Lightworks so it's not my speakers or other audio equipment, etc. I have an Audio Production Studio (Windows 10 Pro) with top-quality hardware including near-field monitor speakers i.e. At least that's the situation I'm experiencing. It seems Lightworks (Jversion) doesn't seem to properly process the 'right channel' audio in a stereo audio file within a video. I'm having the same issue with the audio in a video crackling, popping, making weird sounds.
